Small Animal Dentistry

Oral care for dogs and cats often goes overlooked, but it is a very  important part of your pet’s overall health and can add years to his life.

As part of a general exam, your veterinarian may recommend preventive dental care or suggest a professional dental cleaning if needed. You pet will be anesthetized and monitored while under anesthesia, and we will clean their teeth like a human would have their teeth cleaned at the dentist. Should any teeth need to be extracted, antibiotics and pain medication will be administered in order to help control any discomfort and potential infection.
