At Animal Medical Center, our veterinarians provide compassionate and quality veterinary care for all your pets, horses, and livestock.
We are a full service practice and provide preventative care, general surgery, dentistry, emergency and urgent care, laser therapy, radiology, and more. We also provide equine and livestock ambulatory care to Muskogee and surrounding counties. Our farm call vehicles are equipped to handle the vast majority of medical and surgical cases in the field.
Dr Walkup was my vet when he was the traveling farm call vet. Now that he has taken over this practice he has brought his top notch service with him to the AMC. He has also surrounded himself with top notch people like my current vet, Dr. Barnett. Thank you, AMC!

The staff are very knowledgeable & very compassionate. In major situations, they are upfront about prognosis and costs. They helped save the eyes of our rescue dog and when our other dog was diagnosed in end stage of cancer, they were helpful to give her relief & help. But I was really impressed when after her passing & we were grieving privately, they sent up a sympathy card with a hand written note. Others would not understand how we were hurting, but they did!
